Last December, we highlighted Amber as one of our newest team members and over the last 12 months, she has continued to drive innovative and exciting initiatives for the company with several noteworthy accomplishments.
Recently she earned her Vermont state electrical journey worker S-type license after completing four years of night classes and a successful apprenticeship program. This summer she achieved her NABCEP PV Installation Certification.
As we continue to explore innovative ways to collaborate with landowners and farm owners through the emerging field of agrivoltaics, Amber is leading the way for Encore as we deploy herds of solar grazing sheep across many of our projects and has been representing our membership in the American Solar Grazing Association and highlighting our work at member meetings.
Many of the breathtaking photos and videos you’ll see on our website and social media channels were captured by Amber via Encore’s drone.
She’s also continuing her advocacy work for increasing diversity in the renewable energy and trade industries, supporting Vermont Works for Women’s Trailblazers program with a Solar 101 training over the summer.
