Encore Founder and CEO Chad Farrell was invited to offer a presentation at the national RE+ 2022 conference in Anaheim regarding the exciting and rapidly evolving practice of agrivoltaics, the co-location of solar energy generation and crop production. Chad’s presentation took place in the Industry Trends Theater at the conference and touched on the importance of dual land use in meeting the clean energy deployment requirements required to address climate change.
Chad’s session explored the financial and community benefits associated with these projects, as well as grazing fundamentals, hosting pollinators, crop options, operational and financial considerations and agrisolar resources.
