Ran Polley joined the Encore team as Senior Financial Analyst Manager in March of 2025. As a member of the Accounting/Finance team at Encore, they focus on financial accuracy, project support, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the business can grow responsibly and sustainably. With strong attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving, Ran supports both development and commercial initiatives, including Independent Power Producer (IPP) growth. Their work helps translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights that support decision-making across teams.
Outside of day-to-day accounting work, Ran is motivated by Encore’s mission and the opportunity to contribute to projects that create long-term environmental and community impact. To me, a sustainable future is about making thoughtful choices that balance environmental impact, financial responsibility, and long-term value. It’s about creating systems and infrastructure that let us grow today without compromising the world for future generations.
What’s your favorite way to spend time outside?
I love going for walks, hiking, and traveling—anything that gets me exploring and enjoying the world outside.

I’ve been reading Atomic Habits by James Clear—lots of practical ideas for building better habits and improving both work and life over time.
