Joshua Dansie currently fills the role of Project Development Associate with Encore Renewable Energy. He started at Encore as a Business Development Intern during his senior year at the University of Vermont. Josh graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering while completing an undergraduate thesis through the Honor College. His growth and experience with Encore has since led him to take on more responsibilities within the company, and currently handles new project prospecting, landowner communications, and site control acquisitions. With his engineering background and interest in solar design, Josh will soon be transitioning his position with Encore to an Engineering Assistant where he will continue his professional development.
Outside of work Josh continues to pursue a healthy and active lifestyle, spending time outside running, skiing, or walking his dog. With an appreciation for good food, he has also refined his culinary skills cooking for his family while living at home. Other free time is spent watching soccer and supporting his favorite team, AC Milan.
Josh’s work with Encore allows him to continue to pursue his passion for renewable energy in an ambitious and fast-growing company. He is excited to continue his role in helping Encore combat climate change through strengthening renewable energy infrastructure throughout the country.
