Encore’s Vice President of Business Development, Jesse Stowell, was part of a panel that presented a “Brownfield to Brightfield” case study about a solar project that Encore is currently developing on a brownfield in Winchester, NH. Jesse highlighted the complexities involved with permitting and financing a project on a contaminated site and described some of the solutions that Encore has implemented on previous brownfield solar projects. Other stakeholders on the panel included representatives from the Town of Winchester, the NH DEC, the regional planning commission, and Ransom Consulting.
