Encore developed a 5.7MW array on the closed capped Brattleboro, Vermont landfill. The project generates annual lease revenue for the Windham Solid Waste Management Division to support operations throughout the District and also provides significant savings on electric costs for member communities through participation in a group net metering arrangement. This project is currently the largest landfill solar project in development in the State of Vermont. The project was commissioned on June 30, 2018.
