1) Why are you excited to work at Encore Renewable Energy?
I am most excited to return to Encore with a new role. It has been a blast getting to know nearly every side of the business. This summer, the engineering team has taken me under their collective wing and it has been great to work with new people while connecting with old friends and colleagues. I am grateful to work for a company that respects me and the environment. A twofer!
2) What does the clean energy transition mean to you?
It means resilience against climate-related outages and liberation from the fossil fuel economy. It is essential to give future generations the same opportunities we had.
3) What do you do for fun?
I enjoy mountain biking, playing catan and poker. Above all, I love swimming in all the cold water Vermont has to offer.
4) What’s something about you that might surprise people?
I’ve been vegan for three years and I’m feeling great.
5) Favorite flavor ice cream?
Shy Guy Gelato’s dark chocolate in a cone. (the cone is mandatory)
