Encore’s Chad Farrell was invited to serve as a panelist for a webinar on April 14, 2021 entitled “Your Vermont Climate Council: Economic Impacts, Stories, & Solutions.” The discussion centered around the cost of climate impacts, the economic opportunities presented by climate action, and how VBSR members and the general public can engage in the Vermont Climate Council’s work to chart a path toward a just, green, resilient economy. The three panelists were asked to reflect on how climate change has impacted the business community, how businesses can benefit from adopting more climate-friendly practices, and the broad economic potential in climate action and the work of the climate council.
