Encore Renewable Energy participated in the annual Renewable Energy Vermont lobby day in Montpelier, with both Chad Farrell, Encore’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, and Payne Morgan, Project and Business Development Manager, spending the day with government officials and other renewable energy industry participants. During the course of the day, there was a robust discussion regarding important policy topics between clean energy businesses, regulators, legislators and the Governor. Encore’s focus within these discussions was providing legislators an update on the broader solar and energy storage industries so as to ensure that state policy continues to be consistent with the current market environment, thereby allowing the renewable energy industry and the state to remain on track to meet Vermont’s renewable energy targets and to continue to support the ongoing development of a rapidly growing and dynamic clean energy and climate economy.
