Encore served as lead terrawatt sponsor for the annual Renewable Energy Vermont conference, REV2022 and participated in a a number of different panels and other speaking engagements. Encore Founder and CFO Chad Farrell served as conference co-chair and kicked off the conference with remarks regarding the current state of the renewable energy industry following the recent passage of the historic federal climate bill, the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022. Lauren Glickman, VP of Marketing and Communications Lauren Glickman and Phillip Foy, General Counsel and Chief Development Officer moderated panels regarding the importance of diversity in our industry and permit reform issues in Vermont, respectively. Additionally, Amber Lessard, Director of Construction and Asset Management participated in a panel discussion regarding our work in the emerging field of agrivoltaics.
Lastly, our sponsorship allowed students to attend the conference for free. It was exciting to see over 100 students plugged in and engaged in the growing clean energy economy in Vermont and across the region.
