Chad Farrell and Jesse Stowell presented today at Solar Power Northeast conference in Boston, Massachusetts, the largest conference for solar and energy storage industries in the Northeast. This event provides an opportunity for solar and energy storage businesses to exchange insights, discuss trends, and explore opportunities to collaborate in an effort to further solar energy development in the northeast region.
Encore Renewable Energy’s founder and CEO, Chad Farrell, spoke at the New England Solar Development Beyond Massachusetts session. Mr. Farrell’s role on the panel was to share perspectives regarding the solar market in the State of Vermont, with other panel participants speaking to recent market developments and anticipated trends in Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine, respectively.
Jesse Stowell, Encore’s Vice President of Business Development, was a member of the Municipal Utility Roundtable Discussion panel which addressed opportunities for the solar industry to partner with municipally- and cooperatively owned utilities in order to accelerate solar development in New England. Stowell indicated municipally- and cooperatively-owned utilities are accountable to their members, not stockholders, and can more easily promote solar development as a long term cost-savings program which benefits both the utility and its member owners.
