Encore Renewable Energy founder and CEO, Chad Farrell, provided a presentation to the University of Vermont’s Integrative Graduate Education and Training (IGERT) program on November 15, 2017. UVM’s IGERT program is a partnership between the University of Vermont and Sandia National Laboratories. The program maintains a vision to create a new generation of scholars who can navigate the complex socio-technical terrain required for creating a secure, efficient, and sustainable electric power system for the future. Mr. Farrell’s remarks served as an opportunity to discuss opportunities and challenges associated with the market shift toward the distributed generation model for electrical generation and provided a lens into the current and future business trends within the evolving distributed generation marketplace.
