Encore Renewable Energy, along with members of the State of Vermont legislature, officials of the City of South Burlington and other project proponents and renewable energy advocates celebrated the recent commissioning of a 2.1MW solar PV array sited at the South Burlington Landfill on November 16, 2017. Encore’s Chief Development Officer, Derek Moretz, provided comments reflecting on the project’s journey from concept to commissioning and thanked the many public and private professionals and engaged citizens who helped make the project possible.
