Chad Nichols, Project Development Manager for Encore, recently spoke to a group of Junior and Senior UVM students on the nature of commercial solar development in New England and associated current and future impact on our regional electrical infrastructure. The group, focused on net-zero energy goals, was composed of about 20 students with various environmental related majors. The group participated in a healthy discussion on everything from energy siting issues to renewable energy credits.
