Perla joined the Encore team in April 2021 as an administrative manager and now works as Executive Assistant to the co-CEOs. She is responsible for keeping track of fine details and ensuring that schedules and plans run smoothly not only for the CEOs but for the company at large. Throughout her professional career, she has experienced many different industries, but Encore is her first experience in the sustainable energy industry. Perla is proud to be part of such an important social goal and a company that has a true impact on the environment!
Perla holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, a Master’s of Science in Management and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) from Oakland City University in Oakland City, IN. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and being outside, especially since she lives so close to a coast with beautiful sunsets!

What does a sustainable future mean to you?
My vision of a sustainable future is a word where humans and nature live in concert without the negative impacts of fossil fuels and pollution. This will take a continued shift in mindset for many people; but if we continue to illustrate the positive impacts of renewable energy, I believe we can achieve this important goal!
What’s your favorite way to spend time outside?
Because I live on the coast, I enjoy long walks on the beach every morning and appreciate the sound of the waves because I feel it improves my health and wellbeing. It gives me year-round doses of positivity and zest for life, plus it gives me an active lifestyle and vitamin D naturally.
What’s a great book or podcast you’ve engaged with recently?
I recently read “The Silva Mind Control Method”, by Jose Silva, which explores the power of mind and positive thinking to cope with the every day challenges of life. I would highly recommend it! I also like to watch movies or Netflix series. My latest series was “Down to Earth” with Zac Efron, which explores a variety of healthy and sustainable ways to live around the world.
