3 Questions to get to know Meghan
What does a sustainable future mean to you?
A sustainable future is one where all have enough to meet their unique needs and circumstances, and none have so much to jeopardize the wellbeing and happiness of others. A sustainable future also definitely has bees, art, and spontaneous dancing.
What’s your favorite way to spend time outside?
I love being in the water the second it’s warm enough – I prefer to be swimming or floating in a tube down the Mad River! In the winter you can find me cross country skiing at Blueberry Lake or night skiing at Bolton.
What’s a great book or podcast you’ve engaged with recently?
I love historical fiction. One of my favorites right now is The Warm Hands of Ghosts by Katherine Arden. A dark and fantastical WWI time story that follows a combat nurse and foot soldier. It’s tells the story of how the world ended and was reborn during the great war and how people and even the shape of hell itself were shaped by it. It was a beautiful pairing of a meticulously researched historical fiction and fantasy.
