Pleasant Street Solar

Pleasant Street Solar is a 3MW solar array developed by Encore Renewable Energy in Wilton, Maine. The project is located on 14.75 acres of privately owned pasture land off Pleasant Street, east of the Temple Street intersection. Once complete, the project will deliver power to Central Maine Power Company, which will in turn allocate the clean power to electric customers in Southern Maine.

Dairy Farm Solar

Dairy Farm Solar is a 4MW solar project under development by Encore Renewable Energy. The project is located on approximately 15 acres off of River Road in Anson, Maine. Once complete, the project will generate renewable energy for the local grid through Central Maine Power, fulfilling the energy needs of hundreds of Maine households. 

Alpine Street Solar

Alpine Street Solar is a 2.4MW solar project on 19.5 acres of land off of South Alpine Street in Oakland, Maine. Once completed, the site will boast approximately 14,000 solar panels, generating electricity for the local grid.

Billings Road Solar

The Billings Road project is the fourth project delivered for VPPSA by Encore under an umbrella of projects representing approximately 10 MW which Encore won under a competitive procurement process. The site is currently owned by the Hardwick Electric Department and was formerly used by the Town as a gravel pit.
