Encore won a competitive procurement to develop and construct a 3MW solar project in Castleton, Vermont via the State of Vermont Standard Offer Program.
The state-wide renewable energy procurement program, originally intended to help establish a robust renewable energy economy in Vermont, utilizes a reverse auction mechanism to encourage delivery of the lowest priced renewable energy resources possible for the State of Vermont. Upon notification of award, Encore was tendered a Standard Offer contract backed by the State of Vermont which serves as the Power Purchase Agreement for the project.
This projected was commissioned in September 2022.
