Encore worked with Green Mountain Transit, the Northern Vermont region’s public transportation agency, to deliver a third-party-owned, roof-mounted solar project on its main bus garage and offices in Burlington, Vermont. An innovative approach was employed to provide the majority of the project lease payments upfront so as to provide the organization with the matching funds required to unlock federal funding to replace the aging roof at the facility. The project was commissioned in Q4 2020.
