Boardman Hill Solar

Encore won a competitive procurement under the State of Vermont Standard Offer Program to develop and construct a ~ 3MW solar project in West Rutland, Vermont. The state-wide renewable energy procurement program, originally intended to help establish a robust renewable energy economy in Vermont, utilizes a reverse auction mechanism to encourage delivery of the lowest priced renewable energy resources possible for the State of Vermont. Upon notification of award, Encore was tendered a Standard Offer contract backed by the State of Vermont which serves as the Power Purchase Agreement for the project. The Boardman Hill project is Encore’s fifth project developed under the Vermont Standard Offer program.

The Certificate of Public Good for the project was awarded by the Vermont Public Utility Commission on January 9, 2023.
