Encore CEO Chad Farrell participated in two panels at the recent Virginia Solar Summit, which was held virtually between March 16 and 18, 2021. Given the rich industrial and mining legacy of the greater Virginia and West Virginia area, the conference was focused on the potential for solar energy to assist in the revitalization of thousands of other underutilized previously impacted lands in the region. Mr. Farrell provided an overview of two projects in Vermont in a success stories session and then participated in the final conference wrap-up session solar experts exchange regarding both the challenges as well as the opportunities associated with turning brownfields into brightfields.
